Take each corner faster.
01 · True race performance
When the pace rises and the margins disappear
Increased stiffness, more capable suspension and refined geometry combine to keep Oiz responsive under power, precise at speed and ready to perform in the world's most demanding XC races.
02 · Targeted stiffness
A 36% increase in global frame stiffness
Countless hours of simulation, prototyping and testing shaped a new frame with targeted stiffness in key areas, driven largely by improved torsional rigidity. On the complex circuits of modern XC racing that means efficiency on tough climbs, precision on technical descents and responsiveness in flat-out sprints.
Saving watts on the climbs. A stiffer frame improves power transfer so more of your effort drives the bike forward. Precision on the descents: limiting how much the frame twists helps you hold your line and push harder. Improved suspension action: more stiffness around the linkage and main pivot prevents unwanted twisting under side load, improving sensitivity and traction.

Forged alloy linkage
Finite Element Analysis shaped a forged alloy linkage with unnecessary material stripped away and overall dimensions minimised. The compact structure resists flex, while strategic internal cut-outs raise stiffness and cut weight by around 30%.

Seatstay bridge
Placed in front of the seat tube to maximise rear-end stiffness, the bridge locks the shock and rear triangle together, holding precise alignment and resisting side-loading under heavy pedalling and suspension forces.

Winged for stiffness
The winged top tube structure raises structural stiffness under real race loads, limiting frame twist so pivot alignment stays precise and the suspension keeps working smoothly.

Rear triangle profiles
Chainstays and seatstays are shaped for maximum torsional stiffness without unnecessary weight, improving stability and tracking in rough terrain. A post-mount brake interface spreads braking forces more evenly through the rear structure.

Powerspine
The lower part of the frame, from head tube to bottom bracket, is critical for power transfer, especially in sprints. Improving stiffness here delivers the biggest gains.
Compacted carbon
Smoother shapes allow tighter carbon compaction and less excess epoxy, improving the stiffness-to-weight ratio.
03 · Race tuned suspension
Tuned for efficiency, traction and control when it matters
From the earliest stages of the project Orbea worked with FOX. The shock tune for the new Oiz was developed specifically to hit their target performance curve and the exact ride characteristics they wanted.

Travel
120 mm front and rear, the World Cup standard, is the natural choice for fast, demanding XC riding. If you want an even more capable Oiz, you can also opt for a 130 mm fork.

Regressive kinematics
Winning demands efficiency and maximum traction on the climbs, even with the shock wide open. A regressive kinematic offers a better balance of efficiency and composure than more traditional linear or progressive setups.

Firmer initial stroke
Greater support early in the travel reduces unwanted sag and limits bobbing with the suspension open, maintaining geometry and an optimal riding position.

Supple mid stroke
Deeper in the travel, sensitivity increases to absorb bumps and deliver traction while keeping you in control.

Bottom-out resistance
The natural ramp-up resists hard bottom-outs, soaking up big impacts without harshness.

Anti-squat
A high level of anti-squat resists pedalling forces at the start of the travel, where you spend most of your climbing. Oiz responds instantly and accelerates without hesitation.
Instant control
Suspension controls right at your fingertips.

Patented i-Line tech
The patented i-Line system creates a perfectly straight internal path for the rear shock remote lockout. Removing cable bends cuts friction for smoother actuation, better efficiency and long-term reliability.

Squidlock
Dropper and suspension control a click away. Two levers give you a dropper post and three shock lockout positions without moving your hand from the bars. It integrates with Shimano or SRAM brake clamps.
Efficiency and maximum traction
Even with the shock wide open, on the steepest climbs.
04 · Racing geometry
Designed around an attack position
Oiz refines a proven XC race platform with precise geometry updates focused on speed, control and efficiency. A slightly slacker head angle complements the increased capability of the new frame and suspension, improving confidence on fast descents without losing aggressive race handling. A steeper seat tube gives a more forward position for better power generation and front-wheel traction on steep climbs. And one of the lowest stack heights on the market keeps weight on the front wheel for turning and climbing.

Shorter chainstays
Shortened by 2 mm. A small change with noticeably better acceleration and more agile, responsive handling. Every rider tested preferred the shortest possible chainstays, even on XL frames.

Low stack headset spacer
Achieve a lower, more aggressive position with 8 mm less stack than standard. Best suited to riders with the flexibility and control to take advantage of it.
05 · Light without limits
The lightest Oiz frame ever
The goal was never lightness alone, but the fastest and best-performing race bike possible. Multiple carbon layups were developed and tested before the final structure was chosen, balancing low weight against the stiffness, precision and ride feel elite XC racing demands. Even in blind testing, riders consistently preferred the final layup over a prototype nearly 50 g lighter, confirming that the best-performing frame is not always the lightest one.
Painted size M frame with shock and hardware: 1700 g. Without shock: 1450 g. Weight may vary depending on paint colour.

Improved frame construction
Eliminating sharp transitions and ridges improves carbon compaction, reducing excess resin in critical areas. That saves weight while increasing rigidity.

Frame design
Built on a proven design philosophy, newly refined shapes and softened transitions deliver a lighter frame with improved stiffness.
No-compromise construction
Every new Oiz frame benefits from more advanced carbon construction, with modern layups and increasingly precise manufacturing. The same approach is applied across both carbon platforms, so structural integrity is consistent regardless of material choice.

OMX carbon
OMX is used only for the lightest, stiffest performance racing frames Orbea builds, the pinnacle of their carbon fibre manufacturing. Fitted to the M-PRO, M-TEAM and M-LTD.

OMR carbon
OMR is the second-level carbon, offering the rigidity and strength of OMX for riders who do not need the ultimate in low weight. Fitted to the M30, M20 and M10.
Lightweight OC components
OC components are designed alongside Oiz from the start, reducing weight without compromising performance.

Clean integrated cockpit
Integrating stem and handlebar allows a more racing-specific product, keeping only the essentials and removing the superfluous, for a high performance lightweight XC cockpit.

Race-ready MP11 dropper
The MP11 dropper offers 100 mm of travel with full control of saddle height: up, down and infinite positions between. The clamp works with all saddle rail systems, and it is only 404 g.

Squidlock remote
Stripped to the essentials, the latest generation of the Squidlock remote reduces weight while keeping precise, reliable lockout and dropper control.

Designed alongside Oiz from the start, reducing weight without compromising performance.
Tools on the bike, not in your pockets
An integrated 8-piece multitool sits under the top tube, just above the shock.
06 · Built to keep you on track
Built to withstand the realities of racing
Oiz pairs a robust frame design with reliable standards and carefully engineered details, ensuring consistent performance season after season.
07 · Rider-focused solutions
Designed around real rider needs
An integrated 8-piece multitool keeps essential tools on the bike rather than in your pockets, a clever detail that saves seconds on the race course. It sits neatly in the underside of the top tube, just above the shock, secured by a system developed alongside the frame for a seamless fit.

Dual bottle cage
Dual bottle mounts on every size support self-sufficient riding for long races and backpack-free outings. In our climate, that second bottle is not a luxury.
08 · Bulletproof build
Refined shapes, denser carbon
Cleaner transitions improve carbon compaction in critical areas, resulting in a denser, more resistant carbon structure.

Pivotless triangle
The flexstay design removes the rear triangle pivot, which means maintenance-free reliability.

Redesigned main pivot
A pinch-bolt structure increases load capacity and reduces torsional loads on the bearings, guaranteeing precise pivot alignment. It creates a stronger connection between front and rear triangles, cutting friction and allowing smoother suspension movement.

Fully sealed bearings
Enhanced sealing at key pivot points keeps contamination out, extending bearing life and maintaining smooth, play-free suspension over time. It matters more here than most places.

Forged alloy link
Forged 6061-T6 aluminium, finished with hard anodising for strength you can rely on over time.
