2026 Orca Aero
Orbea Orca Aero · OMX Carbon · Available in Singapore
Long live aero
Free watts are the only kind you get without training for them. The Orca Aero gives back 15 W at 40 km/h and 28 W at 50 km/h, in an OMX carbon frame with race geometry and an integrated 313 g cockpit. Built and fitted at CANNASIA.
The bike
A bike designed to hand you speed you did not have to earn
It is hard to argue with an aero bike. Every other gain on a bicycle costs you something — money, comfort, or training hours. Drag reduction just turns up, every ride, at every speed, and the faster you go the more of it you get. The Orca Aero is built around that single idea: shape the frame to the airflow, keep it stiff enough that nothing is lost on the way to the rear wheel, and give it geometry sharp enough to use the speed once you have it.
Sold, built and serviced in Singapore by CANNASIA, the official Orbea distributor. We assemble and fit every Orca Aero at 83 Frankel Avenue. If you would rather have the lighter, more all-round bike, we will happily point you at the Orca instead — this one is for riders who spend their time going fast on the flat.
Built for pure speed
Aerodynamic shaping, exceptional power transfer and razor-sharp handling.
Get the highlights
Three things the Orca Aero is built to do
Advanced aerodynamics
Frame aligned to the airflow, cross-sections optimised, transitions smoothed. Drag falls, speed does not.
Power and precision
Stiff in the places that convert watts into speed, and in the places that let you place the bike exactly.
Dynamic race handling
Geometry and ergonomics that make a fast bike an easy one to ride fast.
Aligned with the airflow
Myriad small improvements, all pulling in the same direction.
01 · Advanced aerodynamics
Free speed is the best kind of speed
There is no single trick here. Aligning the frame with the airflow, optimising every cross-section, smoothing the transitions between tubes and cleaning up a dozen smaller details all add up. Individually none of them would be worth mentioning. Together they are worth real watts at the speeds you actually ride.
Drag reduced by 15 W at 40 km/h, or 28 W at 50 km/h. The saving scales with speed, which is why it matters most in a fast bunch, on a solo effort into a headwind, or anywhere you are holding a big number for a long time.
Free speed
Every watt the frame does not lose to drag is a watt you keep. Unlike weight savings, aerodynamic gains keep paying out for as long as you are moving — and they pay out hardest at the speeds a bunch ride actually happens at.
Where the drag goes
The airflow does not treat the frame as one object. It meets the fork, then the down tube, then the bottle, then the seat tube and rear wheel in sequence, and each hand-off is an opportunity to lose or save energy.
Five places the watts were found
Top tube and chainstays
Both run horizontal, which keeps the airflow attached across the middle of the bike instead of tumbling off it.
Down tube and seat tube
Profiles optimised specifically around 25–28 mm tyres, so the frame and the rubber work as one shape rather than two.
Reduced turbulence
Single-profile transitions where the head tube meets the down tube, and where the seat tube meets the seat stays, cut turbulence at both junctions.
Rear wheel airflow
The upper seat tube junction is aligned to the airflow, reducing the drag that builds up around the rear wheel.
Aerodynamic fork
Redesigned and optimised for high-profile wheels, so deep rims and the frame complement each other instead of fighting.
Premium OQUO wheels
The natural partner to the frame, whether you want outright aero, low weight, or the balance in between. Ask us which depth makes sense for our roads.
Modern aero solutions
Storage and hydration that make the bike faster, not slower.
Toolbox behind the front wheel
The old problem of where to put a tube, a multi-tool and your IC, solved in a way that helps rather than hurts. Sitting behind the front wheel, the Toolbox is aerodynamically useful as well as practical — and it keeps the frame's lines clean.
Faster with the bottle in place
Unusually, the Orca Aero is quicker with its bottle fitted than without. Airflow off the down tube rolls straight past bottle and cage as though they were part of the frame. Need more capacity? Standard mounts on the down tube and seat tube take a second bottle.
Shaped by the air
Every cross-section, transition and junction accounted for.
Power and precision
Your watts, converted to speed. Your line, held exactly.
02 · Power and precision
Stiff in the right places, for two different reasons
A frame that is stiff where it counts sends more of your effort to the rear wheel instead of losing it to flex. That is the obvious benefit. The less obvious one is that the same stiffness is what gives the bike its precision — the direct, confident response you want when you are carving a corner at speed or holding a line in a sprint.
Improved power transmission
The key to power transmission is not stiffness everywhere — it is stiffness in the load path. Reinforce where the pedalling forces actually travel and your watts arrive at the rear wheel instead of being absorbed by the frame on the way.
Precision handling
Stiffness turns pedal force into forward motion, but it also decides how the bike answers you. A stiff front end gives the direct response you need to place the bike precisely through a corner, or to keep it steady when you are out of the saddle.
Advanced frame construction
None of the above happens without the carbon underneath it.
Orbea monocoque carbon
The most advanced carbon construction Orbea has available, used to build the most sophisticated frame they can make. It is a complex and painstaking process, and it is the sort of thing you notice from the saddle rather than from a spec sheet.
OMX — the top tier
OMX is reserved for Orbea's lightest and stiffest performance racing frames. Their carbon manufacturing has moved far enough in a few short years that the results barely resemble what came before, which is why it needed a name of its own.
Dynamic race handling
Great handling comes from great geometry and ergonomics.
03 · Dynamic race handling
Going fast is not just aerodynamics. It is control.
The most important thing about any fast bike is that it has to be easy to ride. Speed you cannot control is not speed you will use. The Orca Aero's geometry is built around keeping the bike predictable at the point where it matters most — deep into a corner, or in the last two hundred metres.
Balanced handling
Geometry decisions on a race bike always trade against each other. The brief here was that the bike must stay easy to ride, because precise control is what lets you use the aerodynamics rather than just carry them.
OC SH-RA10 integrated cockpit — 313 g
Exceptionally light and aerodynamic, with fully internal routing, ergonomic tops and enough stiffness to sprint on. All of it engineered around speed rather than adapted to it.
The four geometry decisions
Shorter wheelbase for a more responsive bike. Shorter chainstays for sharper acceleration. Size-specific fork trail so control is consistent whichever frame size you ride. Lower stack and a bigger bottom bracket drop for better aerodynamics and more stability.
Adaptive ergonomics
Better ergonomics improve comfort, aerodynamics and control at the same time — which is to say, they make you faster. This is also the part we spend the most time on with you in store.
Fit is a performance part
A cockpit that puts you in a position you can hold is worth more than any single frame gain. Everything below is adjustable, and we set it up as part of the build.
Orca Aero OMX seatpost
Up to 25 mm of setback adjustment and ±10° of saddle tilt, in a compact, lightweight 50 mm-deep aero post.
ICR road stem
Sprinter-proof, available in seven lengths from 70 to 130 mm, with full cable integration. Enough range to get the reach genuinely right rather than nearly right.
Aero road handlebar
One of the fastest and most ergonomic aero bars Orbea has built. Four widths from 360 mm to 420 mm, a 5° flare, and up to 15 degrees of rotation between bar and stem, plus a choice of reach. Narrow bars are worth a serious look here — they are a cheap aero gain and they make riding in a tight bunch easier.
Adaptive ergonomics
Comfort, aerodynamics and control, adjusted around you.

MyO is Orbea's custom programme — your choice of colours, finishes and carbon textures, with custom paint at no extra cost. The bikes listed below are the last of the 2026 stock in their factory colour scheme, so new MyO orders now run on the 2027 Orca Aero. Same OMX frame, current season's palette. We handle the configuration, ordering and lead times for you here in Singapore. See our MyO page for how it works.
MyO walk-through
What a MyO build actually looks like
A walk-through of a finished Orca Aero M20iLTD, so you can see how the custom paint and finish choices come out in the metal rather than on a configurator screen. The frame is unchanged for 2027, so this is exactly what a MyO order still gets you.

Ride it here
Flat, fast and windy. This is aero country.
If there is one road bike category that Singapore genuinely suits, it is this one. We have no mountains to reward a featherweight climbing bike, but we do have long flat roads, fast bunches and a sea breeze that never quite stops. Drag reduction pays out every single ride here.
Changi Coast Road
Long, flat, exposed and usually windy. The closest thing we have to a wind tunnel with a road surface, and exactly where 28 W at 50 km/h stops being a number and starts being a gap.
Kranji, Lim Chu Kang & Neo Tiew
The weekend bunch run. Aero advantage compounds when you are rotating through a fast group, and it is the difference between sitting comfortably and hanging on.
Criteriums and local TTs
Short, fast and decided by who can hold speed out of the corners. Shorter chainstays and a shorter wheelbase are worth as much here as the frame's drag numbers.
Heat, humidity and the sea breeze
Every watt you save is a watt you do not have to make in 32°C and 80% humidity. Aero gains are the only free ones available on a day like that.
The Toolbox actually matters
Long stretches out west with no shops and no shelter. Tube, levers and IC in the frame, nothing flapping about, and no saddle bag ruining the lines you paid for.
